Looking into the eyes of the future.

I offend wonder what my little clients will look like in 20 years. I also hope that I will still get to see a few of them past their toddler years. I have been so fortunate to watch so many of my client's families grow and expand. Little Cecelia has come into see me several times now and I just love how big and curious her eyes are while looking into the camera. It is hard to not know just want she is thinking.

George and Catina February 14th

George and Catina were married at there home church in Cascade on Valentine's Day. It was a wonderfully spiritual event and it was a pleasure to be a part of their day. They had a couple that did a praise dance prior to the ceremony and it was a beautiful representation of a couples love for each other and the commitment of a relationship.

We spent some time downtown taking pictures and then went over to the JW Marriot for drinks prior to reception at the Courtyard Marriot.

Happy Valentine Day!

One of my husband's favorite things to get for Valentine's Day is a picture of his girls. Well now another daddy is going to start getting the same thing. I know that he will enjoy it just as much. Little Miss Gianna could be a model with all the poses she was striking.

Fun new background

I went with a few other photography friends to the PPM in Lansing this weekend. The trade show was informational as always. But, let me tell you there was one vendor that I totally fell in love with. So here is the result from that my new SUPER cool background. It is a hand painted original and no one else can get one just like it. hehe

I just love it and cannot wait to use it for more pictures. Maybe Easter pictures this year will be a bit more colorful and funky with the bunnies.

Tell me what you think!

For my brides "to be"

I recently came across an article with tons of fun website for weddings. Here are a few of the ones that will help you cut costs and find the unique items you may be looking for.

www.formal-invitations.com
They have more than 100 invites that cost less than $1.00 each.

www.photostamps.com
Put a picture on your stamps to send out with your invitations.

www.eweddings.com
Launch your own wedding website to help keep your guests up on your engagement, wedding plans and showers.

www.fiftyflowers.com
or
www.weddings.proflowers.com

Trying to save a bit of money on your flowers. Go to fiftyflowers.com and buy roses in bulk. Or have arrangements made at proflowers.com
I personally love to support our local florists like Shelly Johnson and Ludema's but here are a few back ups just in case.

www.scentdesign.com
Looking for a fun gift for your bridesmaids. Design a perfume just for them, starts at only $10.

www.numsum.com
Use this handy website to keep track of your wedding budget and share the information with your parents.

www.shoot.com
Tired of using disposable camera at a wedding for table pictures. Go to Shoot.com and rent digital cameras for your guests to use. The company will then upload the photos to a site for you and your guests to view and share.

I hope this helps a few people with fun ideas for your up-in-coming special day. Good luck planning and just call if I can help you with any fun ideas.
