Fun stuff for Seniors

I have been having a lot of fun with my new 2009 Seniors. Andy plays roller hockey for Rockford so why not make his sports pictures have a little attitude.

Some girls just ROCK!

I have had the most amazing day and it is mostly in part to my late afternoon session with Brandy. Brandy is one of my beautiful brides from last fall that is just a joy to be around. I asked her last year at her wedding if she would be interested in doing something like this and she was more than willing to "Trash her Dress".

We went to one of my local parks and just followed the stream. Brandy was more than willing to roll in the dirt, lay in the water and climb trees for just the right shot. I took over 500 pictures in just under 2 hours. WOW! I already have over 140 pictures pulled to work with and I just wanted to show you a few for now.

Thank you so much Brandy. I am so grateful for wonderful clients just like you.

My little shadow

I just couldn't help myself. I had to post just a cute collage of Sydney. We spent so much time together at the wedding and believe it or not I have about 10 pictures of the two of us together. Which is unheard of since I hate to have my picture taken.

Steve and Melissa July 26th

What an amazing day Saturday turned out to be. I have been very excited about Steve and Melissa's wedding for month and the day finally came and it was all I thought it would be. They were so relaxed and just truly enjoyed the day. The weather turned out perfect, the church was simply elegant and the food was GREAT at the reception. They were married at Central Reformed Church had their reception held right downtown GR. The reception was held for a small gathering of family and friends at San Chez Cafe and it was by far the best food I have had in a long time. They had live music performed by Ken Rothacker, guitarist out of Chicago and it fit perfect for the environment and event.

Steve and Melissa chose to have an intimate affair with only Steve's two children as attendants. James and Sydney were the perfect pair and I took about 200 pictures of them throughout the day. Sydney will hold a special place in my heart for some time to come. She was my little shadow all day and was just the sweetest little girl next to my own little ones.

Melissa was just a breathtaking bride. It was so cute that she had Steve, Sydney and James make the final pick on which dress she would wear for the big day.

The ever so popular back alley. It was great to just walk out the back door of the reception and take a few pictures where we did their engagement pictures just a few short weeks ago.

Cheers!
