Holiday Pictures

I will be having my Holiday pictures on Monday, November 22nd at the downtown studio. The mini session will be $35 and will include a disk. Please let me know if you would like to make an appointment. I will be working from 10am-7pm and each session will last 15 minutes.

Blog Posting

I am really dedicating myself to work and post as much as possible so I have decided to post only to one area at a time. I work on my facebook account daily and will now be keep you all up to date with my current projects and fun pictures on my facebook fanpage "Clever Creations Photography". Fall Family Pictures

i will be doing fall family mini sessions on Tuesday, October 19th from 10am-6pm at Riverside park Boat Launch B by the pond. If you would like to have a session the cost is only $35 and will include a disk of your images with release and 1-2 poses with digital enhancement. The sessions with last about 20 minutes and you can bring your pets with you if you want.

Long time no post

So sorry I have not posted to my blog in a bit. I really have been posting more to my facebook fan page than anything else. Here are a few of my recent favorites.

New Location

We are officially moved to downtown GR. The new studio is located at 445 Century in the old Israel's Furniture Warehouse. Let me know if you would like to come in for a few new pictures. I will be working this summer on Monday nights, Tuesday and Thursday during the day and a few other days by appointment.

Studio Changes

I have decided to close my Comstock Park studio on June 1st and only work from the new downtown location. This was a big business decision but I will be able to serve all my clients needs from one location and have lots of room to give you the traditional mixed with the edgy-fun-urban stuff.

Please let me know if you really want one more shoot at the old location before we move. Thank you to all my wonderful clients that have supported me at my flagstaff location. I have high hopes for my future and think this is the right move.

Pin Up Photo Shoot

I had an amazing day of picture taking on Sunday. We had the fabulous make up artistry of Riese Hinds of The Powder Room, Rebecca Gohl the vintage hair specialist and me. Easter Pictures

CJ and Molly- January 30th

CJ and Molly were married in Grand Rapids on Saturday, January 30th. I loved all the rich colors that they chose to be a part of their very special day. Molly was picture perfect in her wedding dress and just glowed with excitement. Their reception was held at the Masonic Center in downtown Grand Rapids and their guest danced the night away enjoying every minute of their day.

Tim and Sally- January 29th

Tim and Sally were married on a very chilly Friday the 29th of January in the Jenison area. They celebrated their reception with a large group of their family and friends at the Holland Fish and Game club later in the evening and had a wonderful event from beginning to the end.

Nick and Amanda January 9th

Nick and Amanda were married in Sparta on Saturday, January 9th. There reception was held at the new banquet rooms at the Elks Country Club and it was a perfect winter wonderland of a day.

Greg and Andrea December 19th

Greg and Andrea were married at the wonderful Mayflower Congregational in East Grand Rapids on Saturday, December 19th. Christmas weddings are always so rich in color and full of sentiment and their day was filled with both.

We were lucky enough to get some fresh fallen snow for our outdoor pictures and the ladies were even brave enough to attempt snow angels in their dresses. It was a perfect Michigan winter wedding with lots of love to keep everyone warm.

Pete and Amy December 18th

Pete and Amy were married in Kentwood on Friday, December 18th in a wonderful pre-Christmas wedding. The colors were festive and rich and the Bride and Groom were just perfect.

We had a wonderful time at the reception trying to figure out where Pete was taking Amy on their surprise honeymoon. I think I was more excited about it than anyone else, surprises make me feel like a kid again. It was the Bahama's and from the pictures I have seen they had a wonderful time.

Frey- Wood Wedding December 5th

What a wonderfully traditional event Saturday, December 5th turned out to be. It was full of love and warmth. It was definitely nice to get back to the brass roots of photography and do some old school stuff.

Tara and Jon were married a few years back and I have had the wonderful opportunity to see their family grow. Little Kyla was born back in the spring of 2009 and she is just the cutest thing ever and her mom dresses her just adorable. Here are a few more pictures that will just make you smile.

John and Beth November 21st

John and Beth were married Saturday, November 21st in Grand Haven. It was so nice to see two people find each other and bring a family together so easily. John is quiet but just lights up when Beth is around.

It was interested that we were still able to take pictures on the beach in late November and I thank the wedding party for putting up with the frigid weather.

Shane and Beth November 14th

Shane and Beth were married on Saturday, November 14th in Grand Rapids.

Beth, what a ball of energy and excitement. It was so much fun getting to know both Shane and Beth but Beth is someone that I will remember for years to come. She is so much fun to be around and was so happy to just be getting married. Her excitement is contagious and I wish I could be around her everyday to feed off her energy.

We had wonderful weather despite the fact that is was mid November and were so luck to take most of the days pictures in the outdoors with fluffy clouds. It was a photographers dream.

Pat and Mary October 24th

Pat and Mary were married in Grand Rapids on Saturday, October 24th. Despite the crazy fall weather we had in October the day turned out beautiful and we were even able to head outside for a few pictures.

It is always fun to work with a family that I know outside of the business. Mary and her family have lived in Comstock Park for as long as I can remember and I have had the pleasure of photographing one of her cousin's wedding too. Emily is Mary's sister and has been a teacher to both my girls. It was like working with family all day and I was so happy to be their witnessing and recording this event for them.

Chris and Beth October 17th

Chris and Beth were married in downtown Chicago on Saturday, October 17th. It was a wonderful fall day in the city and we were so happy to be able to take outdoor pictures with Chicago as a backdrop.

It was my pleasure to be a part of their day and spend time with them and their families. Chris is a very talented man and sang his beautiful bride a song at the reception and all I can say is, boo hoo hoo. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.
