Christmas Picture Tuesday, November 25th 9:30am-7:30pm

Oh My Cutie!!!

Fun Family Pictures

It was so nice to spend an afternoon with Melissa and her family a couple of weeks back. I am a bit behind on posting (I know) but here are a few of my favorites. I cannot believe how quick the photo shoot went. When all the kids are over 8 years of age things just fly.

Thanks for coming downtown and braving the elements. I think the pictures are worth it.

Silly Accident

Well this week definitely did not turn out the way I thought it would. Thursday early afternoon during a photo shoot I feel and hit my head a bit too hard. I then was taken to the hospital and admitted over night for observation. I have a pretty severe concussion and whip lash. Needless to say I am not up to anything digital or photo related for the next couple of days.

I was told to take it easy for two weeks but that is just not possible. I will try and get all of me back and working by Wednesday at the latest. Sorry for any delays. This was a silly accident that I did not expect and neither did the client that I was with when it happened. I am just thankful for a kind and caring family that has taken care of everything including this blog post.

I hope to be better soon.

42 days and counting

Can you believe that Christmas is only 42 days away? Well I can and I am NOT ready for the holidays. Between my family commitments and tons of weddings that need digital editing I am chasing my tail (again).

Well to add to my busy time it is time again for my holiday photo event. Christmas pictures will be held on Tuesday, November 25th from 9:30am-7:30pm. This is a mini session day that is designed to take a nice holiday inspired picture that you can have back in time for use with Christmas cards of gifts for your family. The cost starts at only $20 and only will take a 10 minutes out of your day.

Hope to see you on the 25th. Tell a friend and have a wonderful day.

My little Halloween girls

I spend so much time away from my kids working so I always try and make their Halloween costumes. I can sew and it is just something little that makes them feel extra special. Well this year was nothing different than the past. I was so busy right up to Halloween week that I was still sewing on the 30th. Laci chose to be a snowman for Halloween. Everyone kept asking her if she was going to melt and Georgia wanted to be a nice witch.

I know they are just snapshots but aren't they just so cute. (I am not partial or anything;)

MIke and Alisha Oct. 25th

Mike and Alisha were married Saturday, October 25th at Kyper College on the Beltline. There reception was held at Centennial Country Club off of 28th Street and the evening was loaded with great food, fun guest and energetic music.

The wedding party consisted of their close family and friends. I was so impressed with how supportive and energetic the wedding party were. We had a great time on the trolley and spent a bit of time at the new Grotto Park next to the Veteran Facility. In all it was a perfect day.

Alisha was a beautiful bride and Mike spent the entire day just smiling. One of my brides from 2006 was the Mistress of Ceremony and it was great to catch up and spend some time talking about all the fun details Alisha put into the day with the help of her friends and family.

Enjoy each other and your new life. I wish you all the happiness in the world.
