Ryan and Crystal were married early Saturday afternoon at Assumption Church in Belmont. Despite the soggy wet weather they had a wonderful crowd of family and friends to witness their union 8 years in the making. We then went on to the JW Marriot downtown for a few wedding party pictures. Thank God for some place dry and warm.
Their reception was held at the new American Legion in Rockford and was even more crowded than the ceremony. Everyone danced the night away to live music and a flowing bar. It was a site to see the room as full of people at 10pm as it was at 5pm. What an amazing group of friends and family. I haven't seen that many people at a reception that late at night in forever.
Congratulations to Ryan and Crystal. I hope you have many more years of happiness together.
I thought with the rain coming down so hard that we would be able to do bubbles. But much to my surprise bubbles will work in the rain.
It was so nice of Crystal's Uncle to bring his classic car out in the rain. It really was worth taking lots of pictures of. We did thier engagement pictures with the car earlier this year.
It may have been raining all day but the light coming in from these windows was beautiful.
The JW Marriot has the coolest balconies to take pictures on. A bit scary though.
I think it is so cute watching people take pictures of themselves.
